Well by the time you are reading this, my latest TWO (let’s spell it together again, T-W-O) works are off to the editor and I’ll be prepping for two weeks on the road.
Man, my brain needs a break after all that self editing I’ve done recently. So, in absence of an intelligent topic to discuss, (But Brynn, you’re saying, you never have intelligent topics to discuss. Your newsletter is literally based on ramblings. You named it yourself. Hush) I’ll share my two of my latest obsessions.
Recent obsession #1: Stanley tumblers
I resisted this one, oh yes I did. I mean, $45 for a huge water cup? Pfffft you aren’t going to trick me like that, no matter how many times I admired them online.
But then a horrible thing happened a few days ago and packed a handy-dandy water bottle that I already owned, thank you very much. (Side note: I am obsessed with water bottles)
However, a terrible thing happened once I reached my destination. I realized I left the water bottle at the gate! Now, to know me is to know I drink crazy amounts of water, so not having a water bottle with me is a huge problem. So, I scurried my way to a store and purchased the afromentoned Stanely tumbler because this time I was traveling and coudl call it a souvineer! Please continue to follow me for more budgeting tips.
By the way, I love this thing. The straw is so smooth.
Current Obsession #2: Boxing
I’m one of those crazy people who love working out. Every day, you’ll find me at the gym, playing pickleball, or biking. Or all of the above. Recently, I’ve started to visit a boxingb studio close to my house where for 45 minutes every day I get my booty kicked while alternating between lifting weights and punching on a bag. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s a great workout. Needless to say, I’m obsessed. (and yes, I bring my Stanley tumbler with me).
Oh! And I have (what I hope is) exciting news! I am going to start a lil’ something called the Sunday Museletter soon (prob after my travels unless I can sneak time in to write one while on the road). It will be a short and sweet note (most) Sundays, where I share a little observation or story, and 3 things I recommend: ie, thing that I’ve been enjoying or has lifted my spirits, whether it’s a food, book, podcast, or whatnot. I follow a few newsletters myself where they do this very thing, and it’s my favorite part of waking up on Sundays, so I’m hoping I can share a little of the fun with you, too.
In the meantime, here’s some goodies to read!
